I've been waiting a long time to get a picture of an eagle. We see them all the time especially when we go to the lake. Jason knows where all of their nests are at. Just recently, we went to the lake for the day. We were at the Egret Reserve. Unfortunately, there were no egrets but we saw a snake and a mink! Anyway, there were two eagles in the tree but it was too far away. By the time we walked the trail, the eagles moved to the tree by the parking lot. I took a lot of pictures as quietly as I could. Then I started moving slowly to them. Obviously, the last step was a little too close for them and they started taking off. It worked out perfectly! Got the picture I wanted all on accident!
